Chapter thirty two

Author POV

Later That Evening – In the Family Living Room

The grand living room—usually used for high-stakes meetings and cold, strategic planning—had been transformed into a chaotic mix of crayons, cookie crumbs, and sparkly glue. Bella sat on a plush rug in the center, barefoot, humming to herself as she prepared what she called her “Brother Apology Concert.”

The same living room- usually a place for serious meetings and tense discussion about territories and alliances, now looked like a kindergarten classroom in disarray.

Colour paper, glitter pens, crayons and half-eaten cookie Lettered the marble floor.

Bella sat cross- legged in the center with determined expression, a pink headband slipping from her curls.

On the sofa across from her, her brothers sat in row - arms folded, legs spread, expressions grim.

It looked more like an interrogation lineup then a family gathering.

Her five elder brothers sat opposite her in a neat row, each exuding a very different energy

Aris, the eldest, leaned back in his chair like a silent shadow—arms crossed, face unreadable.

Enzo, second-born and always grinning, bounced his knee and gave Bella a thumbs-up.

Marco, third in line, sat still as stone, watching her with quiet, thoughtful eyes.

Domino, the overprotective fourth brother, hovered slightly forward, ready to intervene at the first sign of discomfort.

Lucas, the youngest elder brother, already had glitter in his hair—likely from one of his own pranks backfiring earlier.

Alexander stood in the doorway with an amused smile, arms folded, watching his little girl take command of the room with the confidence of a queen.

Bella cleared her throat and stood with her notes.

“Okay! Since you were all sad after I sang for Papa and not you, I wrote each of you your very own songs!”

She pointed to Aris first.

“Aris is quiet, Aris is strong,

He always knows when something’s wrong.

He doesn’t say much, but when he does—

It’s cooler than a room full of buzz.”

No response. Aris blinked once. A long pause… then a small, rare nod.

"Aris never talks too much,

But his hugs are warm and such.

He guards my room when I feel small,

And scares the monsters down the hall."

Aris blinked, staring at her like she'd just shot him in the chest.

Slowly, he gave a single nod- his version of melting into puddle.

Bella beamed. “He liked it!”

Next, she turned to Enzo, grinning wide.

“Enzo laughs and Enzo spins,

He lets me ride his scooter rims.

He jokes and dances, all day long—

He’s like a walking party song!”

Enzo threw his hands up dramatically. “Now that is a hit. I demand a remix!”

Bella smriked cutely and continue,

"Enzo's loud but in fun way,

He takes me for dancing every Sunday.

He's scary but he's nice to me,

Except when he hides my TV key.

Enzo groaned, rubbing his face.

"You weren't supposed to know it was me"

"I always know" she said sweetly

Domino rolled his eyes.

Bella turned to Marco.

“Marco’s calm and Marco’s cool,

He watches me walk into school.

He doesn’t talk, but that’s okay—

He always listens anyway.”

Marco said nothing, but his lips twitched into a subtle smile. That was all she needed.

Then she looked at Domino.

“Domino checks every door,

Every window, every floor.

He says, ‘Be safe,’ ‘Don’t run too fast’—

But his hugs are warm and always last.”

Domino tried to act unimpressed, but his hand immediately went to smooth her curls as she passed. “You forgot the security code lines,” he murmured, almost smiling.

She took a breath.

"Domi cooks and makes good snacks,

Even when he's hiding facts.

He lets me paint his scary knives,

And resd me bedtime tales- twice.

Domino choked on a Lough " you remember that?"

"You fell asleep in the middle of Goldilocks" Bella say solemnly " but I forgive you"

"Thanks your highness" Domino bow down dramatic way.

Finally, she turned to Lucas with a sparkle in her eye.

“Lucas hides my shoes and hats,

He puts stickers on the cats.

He’s funny, loud, and always near—

Even when I find glue in my ear.”

Lucas gasped in mock offense. “You swore you’d never tell!”

Alexander laughed from behind. “She’s got dirt on all of you.”

Bella smriked widened

She continues

"Luca's strong and Luca's fast,

He taught me how to throw things last.

He buys me ice cream I'm mad,

Even when he's looking sad.

Luca blinked and his jew twitched.

"..... I do buy you ice cream" he muttered, trying not to smile.

Bella did a little bow. “Apology concert: complete!”

Enzo started clapping like she’d just won an award. “We should record this. Official family anthem.”

Domino nodded slowly. “She needs security next time she performs. Stage barricades.”

Lucas leaned in. “Can I design the pyrotechnics?”

“Absolutely not,” Domino said immediately.

Marco slipped a small notebook from his coat and quietly tucked the lyrics inside.

Aris stood up and, without a word, gently patted Bella’s head. That was the equivalent of a standing ovation.

Bella grinned, mission accomplished.

Alexander leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, watching the scene like it was better than the opera he'd seen In Sicily.

"She got you all pegged" he said smriking " Tough guys, reduced to bedtime poems."

Alexander came forward and lifted her into his arms.

“You’ve got a room full of mafiosos wrapped around your finger,” he said quietly.

She giggled. “They were sulking. I had to fix them.”

“You didn’t just fix them,” he said. “You disarmed them.”

Marco raised his hand "I want my version recoded with background music"

"I'll get glitter paper for the lyrics" Luca added

Enzo had already opened a taking app. " Do we get covers? Album arts?

"I'll draw it" Bella said, spinning

Once.

Aris was silent, but he quietly pulled a small silver locket from his coat.

He opened it, placed the folded lyrics inside and tucked it back into his pocket.

Alexander smiled to himself, walking over to lift Bella into his arms again.

"You're dengerous, little one" he whispered

She giggled "I'm fixing people"

"Exactly" he whispered

And in that moment,

the coldest, the most feared family in the underworld sat on the floor, listening to a child

Sing off - key with joy- while secretly vowing to outdo each other for the next performance.

And across the room, five feared men in dark suits were already arguing about who got the best verse, who deserved a chorus, and whether the next concert should have backup dancers.

Hyyy dear star's 💫 💫 💫
