The Romano mansion was usually a place of power, discipline, and perfectly-polished marble, but today it felt different—lighter, warmer, as though someone had opened all the windows to let in a soft spring breeze. Perhaps it was because Romeo’s family had guests, or perhaps it was because those guests were Paridhi and Amaira, whose gentle presence softened even the sharpest corners of the house.
